Aroma is really smoked and roasted malts along with chocolate, some vanilla, cocoa, coffee and burnt wood. Flavour is the same with some dark dry fruits, mild spices and quite hoppy. Bitter finish. Differs from the impy stout masses. MiP (8793), Sønderborg, Denmark Feb 26, 2008 Can. Hard roasted aroma with some raw liquorice notes. Black colour, slightly thick-flowing. Unstable head, very dark brown. The flavour is very powerful. Starts off creamy with a subtle aromatic hoppiness and a good sweetness.
