Beautiful dark black out of can. Frothy tan head. Aromas of roast, chocolate, black coffee. Taste is all that and more. Sweet malt, bitter coffee, chocolate bitter finish. Lively carbonation slick, creamy mouthfeel. Really good stout.

Deep oily black pour with a three finger, creamy to oily medium brown head that has great retention and leaves nice lacing. Aroma is big on roast and toasty notes, some oily grain, chocolate, citrus, earth, leather and a little charred wood. Flavor is loaded with roast and slightly overdone chocolate chip cookies up front, dark toffee, roasted nuts, a little pine, light, sweet toasted wood notes, cooked dark fruit and a hint of old vanilla. Heavy body, super creamy entry, light, blanketing and somewhat soft carbonation and slightly goopy, still quite creamy finish. This is a fantastic Impy Stout.

12 oz can. Pours black with a long lasting, foamy, brown head and nice lacing. Aroma is of bread crust, toasted malt, cacao, brown sugar and chocolate covered cherries. Body is full and smooth. Toasted malt, herbal hops, dark fruit, brown sugar, chocolate, and coffee fill the mouth. Finish is long and bitter. Delicious, complex brew.

Negro opaco, espuma beis densa. Aromas lupulados especiados y herbáceos con fondo de maltas tostadas. Cuerpo denso, inicio achocolatado con final de amargor intenso, resinoso y tostado.

Can: Super viscous pour, black as night with a creamy, tan-leather head that caps off the abyss nicely. Powerful nose; roasted & burnt malts, grains, cocoa beans, espresso, & mild char. A touch of leafy, herbal, & ashy tones blur the line between roast & bitter hoppage at times. Undertones of anise, molasses, & dark fruit. First sip shows the insane mouth feel of this beer. So thick & chewy, I need a goddamn fork. Roasted malts, dark chocolate, creamy espresso, with an overcasting of light figs, raisins, & even some black cherry that remains sweet, never getting tart or twangy. Good addition of sweetness from the malt up front that leads to a more roasted, woodsy, & bitter back-end. Faint herbaceous notes, charred nuttiness, a hint of smoke, ash, bitter chocolate... Wow. Really love this beer.

Nez de mélasse, alcool, cassonade. En bouche, c'est pas trop sucré, soyeux, alcool, caramel brûlé. La finale est soutenue, alcoolisée, chaude et caramel. Très bonne stout. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone
