On tap U Vsech Certu (04/03/13). Hazy dark gold/amber pour with creamy white head. Aroma of well done toast, a strong yeast charachter is present in the aroma, fruity esters are just reminiscent enough of alcohol. Roasty flavor, light yeastiness, fruity body, hops remain to be found, slightly mineral on the finish. Palate is rich and creamy yet very easy drinking. Not a remarkable example but a highly drinkable beer.

My Bottom Line:
This velvety Polotmava shares lots of yeasty aromas atop herbal hops and caramel malts.

Further Personal Perceptions:
-A super creamy, thick head of foam covers the cloudy dark amber.
-This might not be a refined example, but it is comfy and flavorful.
-Light fruitiness is found. With the yeasty touch, it points towards short lagering...
-Mouthfeel is very rich and creamy. As if a touch of nitrogen was used to carbonate the beer...

Pours copper with a beige head. Aroma is roasted caramel, fruity notes, light grass and dried fruit. Flavour is roasted caramel, butter, grass, pine and dark dried fruit.

Drafted at Klub Malych Pivovaru,the Czech version of this style usually has a redish color, but it looks more like a lager,golden with a white foamy head.Aroma’s of cinnamon rolls,nutmeg,hot wine,icing.Has a wonderful flavor,cinnamon roll dough,yeast, raisin, vanilla, woody.I’m really diggin this beer.

(draught 0,5l) Fruit, light yeast aroma. Light sparkling amber-red color. Medium light brown head. Light bitter-sweet. Bitter end.

RBESG08. Cloudy red amber, creamy golden head. Light bready nose. Fruity, light bready, good balance. Chewy, good mouthfeel.

On tap. Slightly hazy amber golden with a dense off-white and lacing head. Sweet caramel in the nose. Medium body, low carbonation and a soft mouthfeel. Sweet caramel and malt - almost candy-like - yet balanced with solid hops. 270608

June 2008. Draught at Vinarna Hrozen, Plzen. Pale amber colour. Good balance of malt, hops and butterscotch, both in aroma and flavour. Solid Czech Vienna Bohemian Style. It’s tasty and good floral hoppy. Medium bitter.

[tap] Sweet, alcoholic malt with a little dried fruit and vinous character. Hazy reddish amber with only a pale white ring. Malty and bitter flavour with some dried fruit, but sort of thin. Light body, moderate carbonation, Soda watery.

Clear deep amber with medium off white head. Sweet aroma with hoppy and caramel notes. Flavor is sweet with caramel malt, hops and fruity notes. Ends bitter.
