Beer_2000 (1196), Kristiansand, Norway Apr 5, 2008 Draught @ OMB. Slightly hazy, pale golden body with a medium white head. Aroma is quite typical, banana, yeast and spicy. Flavor is refreshing citrus with some lemon. I find this really refreshing and well balanced. Finn (1085), Tromsø, Norway Jan 23, 2008 On tap 29 Jun 07. Pale golden. Unclear. A tiny(!) head. Weak spicy aroma. Spicy flavor. A bit carbonated. Unvaried with no distinct aftertaste. PeterA (338), USA Jul 24, 2007 Nice, light floral aroma. The color was yellow, but it seems like it was overly filtered as there wasn’t as much of the cloudiness I’d expect in a Hefe-Weizen. There were some lemons in the taste, it was a little bit sour. It has a smooth light mouthfeel and after taste. This would make for a good session beer. Rastacouere (5270), Montréal, Quebec, Canada Jun 1, 2007 Light white head slowly departs from the rather dark, golden to amber pour. Warming fruity nose, playing more in the ester than phenol ballpark with citrusy lime/lemon flavors backed by solid banana puree and a firm dose of supporting hops. The mixture works pretty well to make a very fresh impression. Medium bodied, expansive, yet easy-going carbonation. A very satisfying first half-pint at this favorite Norwegian brewpub of mine. Ole_R (1195), Oslo, Norway May 26, 2007 Updated: May 27, 2007On tap @ the brewpub. 2007 version [very different compared to the previous (06) batch]. Tiny and quickly diminishing beige head over a cloudy, dark orange colored, soft carbonatied body. Pleasant aroama of sweet citrus and floral hops. Taste is fresh with an initial flavor of lemonade and yellow apples, followed by banana, mild spices and sweet berries in the aftertaste. Almost no hopbitterness . Smooth, soft and easy, and utterly refreshing. Moreish!
