Tap @ Oslo Mikrobryggeri, Oslo. Pours a light near-clear golden-yellowish body with a small sidesticking off-white head. Aroma is light sour with something that actually reminds me much of wild-yeast. Also hints of hay, wood and cherries. Strange stuff.. Light-bodied, average to soft carbonation and it has a mild watery texture. Tastes just as sour and acidic as the aroma suggested, with notes of hay and sour grapes. This actually can bear resemblance to a mild lambic. Liked it, even though it was a bit light-bodied and I think a bit to sour for a hefe.

On tap at the brewpub. Light yellow hazy, thin white head. Smells of apples, citrus and hints of banana. Taste is very light. Does not feel heavy at all. Some malt but not very sweet eighter. Good acids and a nice dry mouthfeel. Finis his not very bitter. After a while the aroma gets sulfide tendensies, but my rate is based on the first impression

Nice, probably the best one. Very refreshing and very aromatic alike the German ones. Not in the list that day.

Pours hazy pale yellow with very small white head leaving very nice lacing on the glass. Fruity, floral and yeasty aroma. Well balanced crispy and acidy mouth feel mixer with citrus and perry flavor. Well carbonated. Acidy sweet on palate. Finishes short with à bitter sour  fruity aftertaste with à hint of hops.

gyllenbock (4460) - Stockholm, SWEDEN - JUL 29, 2010
On tap at the Brewery in July 2010. Hazy yellow with a small head. Typical Hefeweizen, banana, spices, yeast, rather sour. Ok beer.

Kestral (506) - Årnes, NORWAY - JUN 2, 2010
Hazy yellow orange, a small white head leaving some lace. Aroma is the usual suspects. Quite heavily sweet, wheat, yeast and banana, some spicy notes, some alcohol, and flour. A good, heavy wheat sweetness when first sipped is shattered by a surprisingly big citric bitterness. The finish is a bit flaccid, with a soapy herbal spicy note. Body is light, carbonation is sparkly. Too sparkly, leaving it a bit watery. Should have been heavier, thicker and smoother. Drinkable and refreshing, but too light.
