4.1 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20
The true gem of the Oslo Mikro Bryggeri lineup. Extremely wheaty and German-esque. Yeastiness pervades throughout. Bravo! And in Oslo, no less!

3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
UPDATED: MAY 27, 2007 On tap @ the brewpub. 2007 version [very different compared to the previous (06) batch]. Tiny and quickly diminishing beige head over a cloudy, dark orange colored, soft carbonatied body. Pleasant aroama of sweet citrus and floral hops. Taste is fresh with an initial flavor of lemonade and yellow apples, followed by banana, mild spices and sweet berries in the aftertaste. Almost no hopbitterness . Smooth, soft and easy, and utterly refreshing. Moreish!

3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
Nice, light floral aroma. The color was yellow, but it seems like it was overly filtered as there wasn’t as much of the cloudiness I’d expect in a Hefe-Weizen. There were some lemons in the taste, it was a little bit sour. It has a smooth light mouthfeel and after taste. This would make for a good session beer.

3.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 13/20
On tap at the brewpub. Hazy, pale golden with a slightly creamy white head. fruity aroma with banana and bubblegum. Good banana and spicy flavours, leading towards a refreshingly dry finish. Light to medium body, above average carbonation, but still soft. A refreshing, harmonious and well-made hefeweizen.

3.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Light white head slowly departs from the rather dark, golden to amber pour. Warming fruity nose, playing more in the ester than phenol ballpark with citrusy lime/lemon flavors backed by solid banana puree and a firm dose of supporting hops. The mixture works pretty well to make a very fresh impression. Medium bodied, expansive, yet easy-going carbonation. A very satisfying first half-pint at this favorite Norwegian brewpub of mine.

3.4 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
UPDATED: JUL 15, 2009 Draught, Oslo Mikrobryggeri. Bow-shaped trumpet with a collapsing head and lace dabs. Peach mistiness, not fully hazy. Authentic ripe estery aroma with banana, pepper, Hubba Bubba. Toffee apple and banana fizz, thinnish sherbety condition, clovey spice. ’Bananas galore’ chipped in Dirtman. No pithy US hops in sight, and it’s something of a relief. Clean, tanging and authentic, just lacking a bit of body. The pick of the beers sampled at the brewtap.

3.3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Medium lasting creamy white head over pale yellow faintly hazy body with ongoing carbonation. Soft, spicy banana aroma. Sweetish watery banana wheat taste with fuzzy mouthfeel. Some acidity. Faintly metallic aftertaste. A decent weizen, but a bit too watery. (On tap.)

3.3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 12/20
En trivelig Hefe Weizen med en veldig fremtredende smak av banan og nellik.Ikke min favoritt (jeg synes faktisk Hogarten smaker bedre), men absolutt et godt alternativ til "halvliter’n".
