Brewpub: Pour is wicked pale. Aroma is grassy with some funky stuff involved in it. Minimal hops, but there be a slight bitterness. Tis very light with little taste. All too subdued, but drinkable.

On tap at the brewpub. Clear light golden with a white head. Light fruity and malty aroma with hints of herbs. Lightly sweet and malty with a slightly hoppy and bitter finish. Quite refreshing and far better than the industrial so-called Pilsners in Norway. (2012-05-26)

3.5 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20 Mezcalmannen (395) - Oslo, NORWAY - OCT 29, 2011
A very fruity taste and aroma, and bitterness to the finish. This was my favourite of the sampled beers at the brew pub, which is a bit ironic, under normal circumstances, it’s the style I would have been least likely to appreciate. A golden brew with a white head. (tap@brew pub)
1 AROMA 2/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 2/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 2/20 ClubGonzo (2689) - Bergen, NORWAY - OCT 23, 2011
On tap @ Oslo Mikrobryggeri, Oslo. Pale yellow body, small white head. Nose is clear notes of diacetyl aka good ol’ butter, a bit of pale malts and not much else. Pale malts, grassy hops, hints of butter again. Slightly oily palate. Yuk. My first beer from Oslo Mikrobryggeri, the oldest still-running brewpub in the country, is clearly off and out of shape. How disappointing.
3.5 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20 Palme (2234) - Bergen, NORWAY - JUL 17, 2011
Tap @ Oslo Mikrobryggeri, Oslo. Pours a light pale golden body with a small lager head. Aroma is really mild. Hints of yeasty fruits and perhaps something that reminds me of malts but that’s it. Good average carbonation, light oily body and medium to light-bodied. Tastes just like I like my my pilsners. It’s light fruity, mild fizzing and quite malty with a nice light bitter and lasting malty aftertaste. Really good pilsner!
3.2 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20 Nekronos (3169) - Xalapa, MEXICO - FEB 8, 2011
Very ice, a little like Brittish style beers. Refreshing and not so bitter as other pils brewed in brewpubs.

Mycket söt kola-doft – smaken består av kola, honung och mycket bröd. Lite för degig.
