Pint @Oslo Mikrobryggeri. A finger of sand-colored head, on a hazed amber colored body. Soft buttery malt arma. Yeast tones and a scent of fruity hops. Mellow, sourish-sweet malt flavor. Firm bitterness. Mild fruity hop flavor. Yeasty. Mid-bodied. Sour, bitter-ish endnotes. Drinks ok, lack some crispness. [08.03.13]

In short: Some kind of crunchy ESB on steroids. Enjoyable and highly drinkable

The look: Partly cloudy golden-amber body topped by a persistent small beige head
In long: Nose is toasted, a bit of butterscotch, leafy hops. Taste is clean, pleasant malts toastiness, crisp dry caramel, taffies, caramel hard-candies, good amount of leafy hops, mild bitterness, finish is relatively dry with a toasted and iced-tea sensation in the after-taste. To me this was like some kind of cranked-up ESB. Decent beer. Named after an object used by the type of people who could never hurt a fly.

Smallish offwhite head. Slightly hazy amber body with strong carbonation. Buttery fruity aroma with floral notes. Dry-sweet strawy fruity resiny taste with grassy notes. Mid-bodied. Mild, soft mouthfeel. Dryish fruity buttery strawy aftertaste with grassy strawberry and grainy dust notes. Nice! Clean, vivid, and highly drinkable. (0.5l draft at brewpub.)

Full pint, 6.2% abv., draught at the brewpub. Filmy white layer that lasts throughout. Misty amber coloured body. Aroma of malt and fruit adding a wheaty note. Taste of mild caramel malts supported by citrus, and again, notes of wheat. Dry bittersweet ending. Medium bodied. Typical house scent. Quite nice (Oslo, 25.05.2012).

On tap at the brewpub. Dark golden to amber with an off-white head. Fruity and hoppy aroma with pine, tropical fruits, some malt and caramel. Sweet and hoppy ale with a nice bitterness. (2012-05-26)

Hazy amber. Nice mouthwatering aroma. House yeast character. Stale bitterness, slightly metalllic. Long bittersweet tail.
