Commercial Description:
As the ice gives way on the Wisconsin river, yard work becomes obvious as all Fido's piles from the entire winter lay on the lawn in a mushy mess. This malty treat should make clean up much easier. Enjoy!

Pours reddish brown (not black) with faint head. Strong malty aroma, and flavor. First sip is interesting (in a good way) - as it’s very malty. Every subsequent sip you get more and more sick of drinking it. (My father actually got the shivers (in a bad way) after each drink... but kudos to him for finishing it!.

Thanks to Skyview for this one. Dark red color with no head. Aroma of dog biscuits and apples. Very dry grain and dried apple taste. A bit of roasty malt towards the finish.

Picked up a six-pack from the brewery/home brewer’s supply store in Plover, Wisconsin as soon as the word this seasonal beer was available. Pours a semi-hazy caramel amber brew with an average creamy off-white head that quickly dissipates to a fine film and off-white ring. Minimal lacing after the dissolve. Aroma of toasted biscuit-like malt, some Belgian yeast and apple character with a touch of toffee and a hint of white chocolate. Taste is medium bodied with a good balance of carbonation with flavors of powdery biscuit malt, a little apple and some flowery hops. Finish is semi-dry with a powdery/chalky biscuit aftertaste with a touch of apple sauce. An unique dunkler bock with a touch of Belgian character.
