Please enjoy this convenient distraction from your daily life. We sure enjoyed taking a break from our everyday "grind" one afternoon at the brewery to meet a very passionate local coffee roaster who was interested in a possible collaboration. This liquid is our story.

Aroma is dark fruits and a bit of booze. Very thin light head with minimal lacing. Pours a very dark brown. Not the flavor bomb I expected given itís an imperial porter with coffee and vanilla, but damn is this nice. Definitely serve this at cellar temp, itís WAY better as it warms from the fridge. Their claim of this beer being "masterfully blended" is not a false one. Light vanilla flavors give way to subtle coffee notes. Great balance; no flavor is overpowering. There is a solid imperial porter background but again, not pronounced. While I typically like in your face beers, this one still impresses me. Mouthfeel is thin, easy to drink with very little carbonation. Overall a great beer, in my opinion.

Pours black with very thin, quickly dissipating head; lacing is non-existent. Notes of vanilla and coffee in the nose, but balanced and not leaning too far towards either aroma. The bourbon vanilla bean comes through in the flavor, and cuts the coffee nicely. This is pretty well-balanced. But the mouthfeel is thin, and the lack of carbonation makes it too flat. This is fine, but could have been much better.

Pours a jet black with a touch of brown head. Nice full body, tastes an smell of a nicely balance base Porter with a punch of coffee and hit of vanilla. Very nice breakfast beer!

Bottle. Pours black with a light brown head that dissipates to the edges. Aroma is full of coffee with a bit of green pepper backed by bitter dark grains and roasted malts. Flavor has coffee and some sweet dark grains with a bit of green pepper and a bit thin up front.

Pours a typical porter, stout black with a small tan head. Aroma is of roasted malts, and coffee in the back. Taste is coffee first followed up by vanilla. I was drinking this on tap a few months ago and thought it was better than what Iím getting out of the bottle, more balanced. Overall a good porter but not a great porter.

Pour out of bottle, dark brownish black pour with tan head, aroma brought notes of big cocoa, roast, coffee into a bit of espresso bean, lots of vanilla, hints of spice into some more sweet molasses. Taste was a mix of molasses, dark chocolate, vanilla into a bit of espresso, coffee, finishing fairly roasted, slightly sweet. Very tasty.

the long and the short of it is, if i could fit my dick in the neck of this bottle, i would have sex with this beer. it is exactly what i needed. rich roast notes with a strong coffee flavor throughout. the vanilla works well with the cocoa flavors. mouthfeel is thick enough to support all of this. great roasty bitterness. sweetness lingers throughout. sure, the coffee dominates, but if you didnít expect that, then you are an illiterate asshole that deserves to get something you donít want. chocolate cream filling flavor lingers with the strong coffee notes.
