Hazy, orange beer with a big white foam. Mildly fruity, quite floral aroma. Quite oily texture and strong bodied. Quite harsh bitterness. Yes there is bitterness and yes there’s a lot of hops but the taste isn’t really that great. Very unsurprising and mediocre. Meh.

Bottle from Reading BF 2016. Deep gold colour slight haze lasting white head. Fresh leafy hop aroma with some toast. Attractive. Malts are still not up there with the cask conditioned beer I have had today. Some sweetness. Yes some US malt but a huge hop presence too which is fun. Some heat from the alcohol good hops

Bottle. Pours a light orange with a decent, off-white head. Aroma is plenty of citrus, slight tropical fruitiness as well as slight conifer and caramel. Taste is smoothly citrusy, turns quite dry and bitter on finish with conifer and caramel. Really nice with excellent drinkability.

Golden yellow colour. Pineapple, oranges and hints of apricots and other citrusses in the aroma. Apricots at first. Hints of oranges in the middle. Pineapples and apricots in the end. Slight sourness in aftertaste. Classical IPA. Not boring not interesting.

330ml bottle (Alko Arkadia, Helsinki)
Very sweet caramelly aroma. Full palate, sweet, but OK carbonation. Sweet caramelly malts and extreme bitter bite. Finish bitingly resiny and bitter. Modern strong IPA, works just about.

Marstonlad (687) - Helsinki, FINLAND - APR 7, 2016
Bottle from Alko, Helsinki. Pours cloudy golden with a medium-sized white head with some lacing – simply beautiful. The aroma features citrus fruitiness, pine, resin and some grass; very hoppy. Taste is dry, crisp and heavily bitter, especially in the finish which is no wonder given the 95 IBUs. Flavours include initially pine, later grapefruit and orange. The palate is medium-bodied, average in carbonation. As intense as promised by the label.
