Hazy pale yellow with foamy white head / Bright nose of lemon, other citrus, cut pine, and weed / Medium body, a hint thin, chewy, good biting hops with some sweetness and bitter finish / Flavors of cut pine, grapefruit, pineapple, orange peel, resin, and candied sugar / Just a mild body flaw, but otherwise excellent.
4.4 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 10/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 17/20 88DrawTap (13) - Illinois, USA - JAN 4, 2013
Flowery aroma. Taste starts with a bready/malty sweetness, quickly followed by a burst of citrus and a then a bunch of pine that lingers into the aftertaste.
3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20 tmoreau (1625) - Lombard, Illinois, USA - DEC 25, 2012
On tap at Lunar Brewing Co., and shaker served with a lightly hazed, golden hue, a modest amount of white head foam, and etched-like rings of lacing that clung to the glass. The aroma presented pleasant, expressive grapefruit, a touch of sweetness, and just a hint of resiny cattiness. The flavor was the aroma notes plus smooth malt, medium hop bitterness that lingered nicely, and was somewhat earthy and rind-like. The body was medium, and the finish matched the bitterness with a successful dryness. A well balanced, crisp, no frills IPA.
3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20 5000 (4974) - Hardened Liver, Washington, USA - DEC 1, 2012
Bottle:   Pale amber, hazy, moderate white head, fairly nice lacing.   Sweet citrusy and pithy nose.   A little floral.   Sweet pithy start, a touch earthy but its minor, with a bunch of sweet citrusy white bits towards the backside.   Not bitter at all.   Well, bitter I guess by not biting.   Body and mouthfeel are moderate.   Finishes just as it started, citrusy, some sweetness, a bit pithy, with faint floral notes.   Really enjoyable!

Bottle. Pour is a nice hazy orange/gold color with a good white head that leaves substantial lacing around the glass. Aroma is of grassy hops and citrus notes. Taste is bitter resinous hops with barely anything else. Maybe some pale malt, maybe some grapefruit. Nonetheless, this beer packs a full frontal smackin’!

As far as IPAs go, this is one of the best I have had. You can only find it in Wisconsin (thankfully i live in WI)! The owners are very enthusiastic about their beers and were some of the friendliest people we have come across!
