Draft nitro. Poured hazy copper color with an average creamy off-white head that lasted with excellent lacing. Moderate to heavy creamy hop aroma. Medium to full body with a slick texture with soft carbonation. Moderate to heavy bitter flavor with a moderate to heavy bittersweet finish of medium to long duration. Very good brew.

A hazed blonde IPA with a thin off white head. In aroma, a nice herbaceous malt with floral hops, catnip notes, very nice. In mouth, a nice challenging IPA with catnip hops, resinous, menthol coolness, very nice. On tap at Istmus Beer and Cheese Fest, Jan 21 2012.

Bottle poured a hazy gold with a small lasting white head. Aromas of biscuit, skunk bud, earthiness, grapefruit, tangerine and light pine. Palate was light bodied and crisp with a dry finish. Flavors of biscuit, grapefruit and pine with a crisp dry bitter lingering grapefruit finish.

Excellent IPA. Big IBU yet tangy, very drinkable stuff well crafted. A generous amount of lasting head.. A little cloudy golden. Mango, grapefruit, resiny. Bottle from 20 West Wine and Spirits.

Bottled. Poured medium golden with a sticky off-white head. The aroma picked up grapefruit and grassy hoppage over a fairly nondescript pale malt base.. transitioned to tropical fruits as it warmed up.. good stuff. The flavor found bitter pine resin and peppery notes over pale and lesser bready malts.. more bitter on the back-end, a tad muddled back there, but still tasty. Medium-bodied, very bitter and spicy on the palate.. just a touch abrasive for my liking, but there was good stuff in there.

Thanks to GhostFace for this one. 12oz bottle pours a nice hop hazed deep gold with copper hues and semi loose white head of foam. The aroma has a nice grapefruit hoppy goodness with some lime peel and hop resin creating added depth as well as faint malts in the background. Yum, the taste is full of grapefruit and some tangelo citrus hop flavor notes and then moving into more and more citrus hop bitterness. I’m really liking this. Rich bitter delicious. Nice one!

12 oz bottle. (Riley’s) Madison, WI.
Cloudy yellow golden colour with a big fluffy off-white head. Citrus, pine, sweat, mild bitterness, mild sweetness in a light but fresh aroma. Citrus, grapefruit, moderate bitterness and malty sweetness in the flavour. Very drinkable.

On tap @ the Über Tap Room in the Wisconsin Cheese Shop, Milwaukee. Deep golden with a dense head (almost nitro in character). Densely vegetal hop character, slightly cheesy even, very oily.

Bottle:   Pale amber, hazy, moderate white head, fairly nice lacing.   Sweet citrusy and pithy nose.   A little floral.   Sweet pithy start, a touch earthy but its minor, with a bunch of sweet citrusy white bits towards the backside.   Not bitter at all.   Well, bitter I guess by not biting.   Body and mouthfeel are moderate.   Finishes just as it started, citrusy, some sweetness, a bit pithy, with faint floral notes.   Really enjoyable!
