On nitro at Uber Tap Room. Holds a big, airy head you’d expect on nitro. Drinks with a sweet, earthy and spicy character. I don’t think the nitro creaminess accentuates the right aspects at all. It gives it an almost yellow cheese aspect, maybe good for a cheese-oriented tap room, but the sharp finish is a definite downer. (#5163, 7/6/2013)

Nitro Tap. Pours clear golden, medium supper creamy white head, lasts forever, great lacing. Aroma is pot, grapefruit, orange. Flavor is the same, medium honey sweetness, light dank potty citrus bitterness. Not harsh. Medium body, creamy mouthfeel. Interesting and tasty.

355 ml bottle from Alko

BBE 31/10/16 (importers label) - Pours clear orange with a small white head. Aroma of cardboard, aged hops, grass, citrus, pine, hints of earthiness and caramel. Taste is earthy, hoppy and sweetish with some citrus, pine, resin and caramel. Finish is slightly cardboardy and grassy with some pine, resin and citrus. Decent, but not very fresh.

(Bottle, 0.355 l - importer reports the BBE date to be 31/10/2016, from Alko, 20160122) The beer poured amber and clear. Its head was medium sized and white. Aroma had pine, grass and fruitiness. Palate was medium bodied with medium carbonation. Flavours were pine. fruitiness, grass, malts, sweetness and bitterness. Aftertaste was hoppy and bitter. A good hoppy brew but nothing exceptional.

355ml bottle from Alko. Poured amber, slightly unclear with a thick creamy white head. Piny, lemony, sweet tropical fruity aroma. Quite juicy stuff. Feels somewhat thin for the abv, but makes it very drinkable. Hoppy, citrusy, floral flavors with a dry, slightly woody finish.

A well-designed IBU delivery vehicle - a mildly sweet, clean malt base braces the palate, but after that it’s all bitterness and peppery and citric hops - despite the high hop acids, it manages to not be abrasive - sadly, there is a bit of cheesy hop flavor that detracts from the other pleasant characteristics - still a solid ipa.

12oz bottle. Unfiltered orange-tan. Big soapy, steady head. Dry, bitter, resinous hop aroma...something a little bit off in there too, factory metal-plastic sweetness. I’ve had this beer numerous times on tap. even on nitro. Never realized it was only 7%. it doesn’t really come off so big I suppose, but there is some intense bitterness, It’s sort of one-dimensional though, mostly soapy dryness. Doesn’t really come together all the way, sort of bold up front but just fades on you. Still pretty enjoyable, and those hop tones do come out the more you sip on it..

Bottle share at Chriso’s, picked up at Utobeer. As "O’so Hop Whoopin’ ". Orange, slight haze, lightly sparkling, small foamy white head leaves light lacing. Aroma is tangerine, touch of apple, astringent floral hops, touch of booze. Body is medium, tingly carbonation, smooth. Taste is dried flowery hops, chalky, touches of citrus with a dry finish. A decent enough IPA.

Cloudy golden coloured body with a thick, two centimetre tall pitch white head with even more of a chewy, witty look - very nice. Aroma of super pungent and potent grassy, herbal, resinous and grapefruity hops, and not much else, aside from maybe a bit of candy sugar. Medium-bodied; Assertive effervescence with a big floral and grassy hop kick with a relatively short grapefruit kick, given the tons of hops - but the balance is off somewhat with not much malt showing through at all. Aftertaste is nice, but simple, with just the resinous and grassy hops coming through and nothing else - no malt, no alcohol and no sugar, just hop bitterness, which is nice, just simple. Overall, a very nice and intensely hopped IPA, but the complexity doesn’t ever start and the other flavours are no where to be found. Definitely worth trying if you can get it and like IPAs, but sadly still doesn’t compare to West Coast IPAs. I sampled this twelve ounce bottle purchased from Ridgeview Liqour in Green Bay, Wisconsin on 29-July-2012 for US$1.89 sampled at home in Washington on 04-September-2012 a few hours before leaving again for Milwaukee.
