Guest tap at Lunar. A hop lozenge to be sure but something very sharp about the hops, some strange vegetable tastes too. I don’t mean to sound like it was bad just something was a little off about it. Serving: Tap

Sampled @ GLBF 2011. Pours a clear golden body with a medium white head. Aroma of grapefruit, caramel, and orange. Flavor of orange, caramel malt, grapefruit, and grass with a dry, bitter finish.

Orange pour white head. Spicy, resinous hops. Wish I knew what the hop was since the label says it’s a SMaSH beer.

On tap at the brewery/Point Brew Supply. Deep golden. Big pine and floral hops, some sticky malt. Pale malt swimming in a sea of pine hop juice. Long lingering bitterness. Don’t drink for balance, but a decent smack in the mouth.

On tap. Pours a hazy bright orange with a small white head. Aroma is very bright citric hops, a lot of tropical fruits playing with a light biscuity and sweet caramel backbone with the sweet orange and mango notes at the front. Flavor has much the same balance, lots of fresh citric fruits from the sweet start to the crisp and grassy finish. Maybe a touch of pine at the end along with all of the tropical notes. Medium body and a sharper carbonation. A very straightforward but super fresh IPA, reminds me of a hot summer day

Pours a hazy golden yellow color with a nice dissipating white head. Nose is like a bowl of fresh citrus, mainly grapefruit. Taste is sweet grapefruit with nice bitterness, full of flavor. Finish is dry and ends with fresh bitter sweet citrus. A very nice IPA. Quaff Score 8 / 10

Pours a hazy yellow color with a modest, white foamy head. Aroma has a solid mix of resin and citrus hops nose with a modest amount of strong grassy hops at the end. Flavor starts off a bit off and I am not sure what flavors are creating it but the best I can describe it is kinda weedy(?). After this subsides, some mild citrus grapefruit, pineapple and light pine sneak in before some slightly toasted malt presence kicks in at the very end. Light/modest body, low carbonation, oily presence on top of the beer when light hits it (actually get the oil slick look to it). Overall a good brew but not as good as their other hopped brews. Seems to be a bit rough at the start with some flavors not melding as well as they should. Still a good, enjoyable brew.

Dark yellow pour with a white head. Aroma is a nice spicy hop. Taste is a nice hop and malt explosion of flavor- hop flavor carries this beer but malt keeps it in check. Tasty, flavorful, a good drinking experience. Nice lacing.
