Pours a cloudy orange with an off white head and aroma of hops and citrus. Taste is bittersweet, of hops, pine, citrus, and grapefruit with a nice striking bitter, dry finish. Delicious IPA

Bottle from Breeze Thru. Pours a golden yellow, very clear, with a bit of a head. Aroma is all hop juice. Pine and floral. Lovely. Taste has that sticky hop flavor with some sweetness and a bit of a vegetal taste. Somewhat syrupy. Very bitter, but not in a citrusy way. Finishes shorter than expected. Quite a powerful aroma that would have been a terrific double ipa if followed all the way through.

Pours a clear, radiant, light orange golden. Large frothy white head. Fruity hoppy, juicy, fresh aroma. Very. Nice. Citrus, orange, light grapefruit, little tropical, just enough malt character to balance. Medium body. Excellent bitterness. Flavor adds some resininess, pine. Nice sweetness to balance the bitter. Excellent beer.

On tap at the Brasserie V in Madison. Very nice. Lush creamy body, lots of sticky pine and grapefruit hop flavors. Dense head with lots of lacing. Well done.

[Bottle--old rating] Pours hazy orange with an off-white head. Aroma is sweet caramel, candied grapefruit, some grass, rubber, and sulfur notes. Taste is sweet, moderate to mild bitterness, fair amount of alcohol, some peach, rounded grapefruit, and a good deal of malt at the end. Full mouthfeel, smooth, good length finish. Overall, too syrupy and not my thing.

(bottle) Pours a clear gold color with a very thin white head. Nose holds a lot of fruity smells such as honeydew melon, strawberry, peach, orange, and pineapple. Flavor holds some canned mandarin orange, clementine, strawberry, and grapefruit that overrides a subtle malt sweetness. This sweetness quickly falls off in the finish as an overwhelming bitterness lives up to the beer’s namesake, and it gets to be too much for my liking as it takes on a medicinal note. Mouthfeel is medium and the carb is dialed in. Overall this is a decent beer. I really enjoyed the aroma, but did not particularly care for the whoopin’ that the hops put on my tastebuds in the finish.

On nitro at Stubby’s. Pours a deep amber color with a thick white head. Aroma is hoppy, citrus. Creamy on the palate with smooth carbonation. Flavor is sweet, hoppy, citrus, with a clean, bitter hop finish. Differnt to have an IPA on Nitro.

12oz bottle sent by skyview. Pours a rich slightly hazed golden with respectable off white head that leaves some nice lacing. Upon pour, the hops hit my nose and I am liking what I am smelling. Slightly fruity with hints of pine. After I get it into my glass, it becomes a bit more subdued. This is really mellow, but balanced with just enough sweet citrus pine. The malt only shows enough to add a small slightly sweet body to it. Very balanced for sure. Just enough body, tight carb that just gives enough feel to make the hop bittering show in the finish and lingers just a touch on the palate. Not sure how old this is either, but isn’t showing any sign of ’dead hops’ either. Solid and could drink a couple of these easily.

Tasty as hell. So much hop flavor in this guy! Not quite as awesome as Lupilin Maximus but very very good.
