COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
This pale ale is generously hopped yet balanced through the use of Munich and Crystal malts. Hops added after fermentation gives this American classic an intense aromatic bouquet. Enjoy!

On tap at the brewpub. Much better than I expected, but there are certain Oso beers that seem to do much better on tap.

Deep amber. Light floral pine, citrus, and caramel malt. Brief sweet caramel malt followed by light soapy pine bitterness with a little fruity malt/hop bitter finish. A slightly thin, but clean. Enjoyable.

12 ounce bottle- pours moderately cloudy copper with nominal head and lacing. Nose- butterscotch, uh oh not a good sign. Taste- more butter with some grassy and herbal hops. Something has gone astray here- butter bomb sadly. Hops can’t pull this one out...

12oz bottle, pours a clear amber with orange tint and thin white head, the aroma was more sweet than anything, some hop notes, the flavor is pretty bland and boring with a slight hop finish in the touch, Oso could do so much better than this.

Tap at Grand Avenue Tavern, Wisconsin Rapids. Hoppy and sweet aroma. Smells nearly identical to Surly Furious. Creamy, off-white head with lace that coats the glass in sheets. Initial impression is that this is a furious clone. Subsequent sips it breaks down a bit. I’m pretty sure I have or have had a bottle of this at home which is why the name Hopdinger seemed so familiar. Not a bad brew. A little on the thin side. Could use another 15-20 IBU. It’s basically a take it or leave it brew. Better than I expected and drinkable but it’s a below average ipa.

12 ounce bottle from Badger in Beloit. If Beloit, Wisconsin has a better beer store, I’d be surprised. Then again, Beloit College REJECTED me so I don’t exactly have an encyclopedic knowledge of the town. Pours a hazy amber color with a very large frothy offwhite head. Good head retention and lacing. Slightly green floral hop aroma with a bit of a chlorine note. The taste is candied citrus, chemical notes, faint malts. Tastes weird. Kinda like how I’d expect windshield cleaner to taste. The palate starts strong but instantaneously falls flat. This is just a weird beer.

Date: September 6, 2011 Mode: Bottle Source: Ridgeview Liquor, Green Bay, WI Appearance: Opaque hazy orangish brown, slight head and lacing. Aroma: Hoppy, pine and pineapple. Flavor: Consistent with aroma, thin bodied and a little watery. Other: Not a ton of taste here and I was expecting a bigger finish at the end but it just didn’t happen.

Bottle. Hazy light orange pour with a thin white head. Aroma of pineapple (thanks Landon - my 4-year-old aroma expert! Note that he is not an associate taster on my team!), pine, and hop. Medium palate. Taste is citrus hop - I like it. I think this is underrated.
