Commercial Description:
This pale ale is generously hopped yet balanced through the use of Munich and Crystal malts. Hops added after fermentation gives this American classic an intense aromatic bouquet. Enjoy!

On tap at Great Lakes Brew Fest. Pours a deep orange with a medium sized white head. Aroma is medium sweet, light citrus, biscuity and a very faint fruit. Butterscotch is also detected. Flavor is heavy butterscotch (diacetyl) which detracts from and overpowers the other flavors. Light to medium bodied, creamy thin texture. Finishes abrupt and bitter.

Floral, apple, and mild citrus aroma. Golden-amber with lasting white head. Floral, biscuit, apple, and mild citrus flavours. Very lite for an APA; slightly carbonated.

Not your typical pale ale is all i can say about this one. Aroma is earthy, floral- a decent orange colour with a medium sized white head. But taste is very unique. Enjoyable, but stretching it. grapefruit notes otherwise noticeably hoppy in the finish.

Bottle via Skyview. The beer pours to a hazy amber body with a thin white head. The aroma is strongly crystal malts and a moderate Munich. Grainy cereal. The flavor is very cereal like and seems to taste like wort instead of a finished beer. Not many hops. Very average beer.

[Bottle, thanks Skyview] Pours hazy orange with a small off-white head. Aroma is really weak with hops slightly present. Taste is light bitterness from the hops and a lot of malt in the finish. Medium-thin mouthfeel. This was better than the Belgian Pale but not as good as the Night Train--so drinkable but still not real good.

Another one from Skyview! Copper color and a very thin head. Slightly bitter aroma. A pinch of apple. Slightly grainy taste. A little bitterness. Not much hop-specific bitterness, but an okay APA.

Had this one bottled, thank you Slothgar! Hazy, bright amber pour with a rapidly dissipating off-white head, a powerful nose of rosy hops and a little bit of sour apple. Mouthfeel is prominent. Taste is excellent, even for this style, complex with hops at the top of an assortment of fruits. Good, strong finish. This was really quite good.
