COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
This pale ale is generously hopped yet balanced through the use of Munich and Crystal malts. Hops added after fermentation gives this American classic an intense aromatic bouquet. Enjoy!

12oz bottle poured into a Surly pint glass. I picked this one up on my recent trip to the Motherland. Pours a dark rusty amber with barely a sheet of lace on top. The nose is a little musty with notes of wood, green veggies, and malt. This fades out to a sweet syrup like aroma that is quite pleasant though. There’s a good amount of bubbles bolstering this beer. Good creamy smooth finish, but a tad drying. The hops in this beer aren’t all that juicy and flavorful, though they do impart a good amount of bitterness. Biscuity malt with a lack of residual sweetness. This is a dry, bitter beer, that is decent, but not all that refreshing. I probably wouldn’t reach for this one again, as there are scores of better options of this style out there.

I’ll go against the grain here. This is an excellent outside the box APA in my opinion. Very unique piney grapefruit thing going on here, but somehow it distinguishes itself from others in the style. A very nice tanginess in the flavor. This is a treat, and one I’d gladly revisit. Picked this up in Onalaska as a part of a build your own 6 pack.

This is a pretty decent APA. It pours a slightly cloudy orange amber w/ a quickly dissipating head of rather large bubbles. It has a goodly amount of bitterness but the aroma is just mild tangerine sort of hops. There is a good deal of iced-tea like astringency as well, which I do kind of like. This is a bit undercarbonated and this makes it come across a bit watery. Based on my experience and some other reviews, I’d recon they are having some bottling/quality control issues at the brewery which is too bad. This is really just a bit substandard as it is but it could be polished into something really good.

Bottle - gusher. Sour sweet fruity malt aroma - smells and behaves infected. Hazy pale amber with a large loose head. Yup, I’d say infected. Sour toasty malt, and herbal hops flavor. Medium body.

Light amber color. Amber is kind of grassy. Taste is grassy with very little malt. The hops are more citrusy than piney to me, but the hop flavor has no depth to it at all and is missing something, which makes for an unpleasant experience. No need to try Hopdinger again, ever. 12 oz bottle.

Pours a clear orange brown with minimal head and lacing. Aroma is pale malts and grain with a little sweet fruit and apple. Taste is grassy with a little more of the apple, then just enough malt to keep it from being a one trick pony. This is not stellar, but I kept coming back and it went down easy. Palate was thin and highly carbonated, but in this case it works well.

Bottle pour dark gold to orange. Nose some dank hill, mild fruit hop and some sweet malt. Taste fairly sweet up front and trace fruit hop. Mid palate very mums bitter but malt predominant. Very mild finish. Nothing off putting, but not much stands out either

Just not a great example of a pale ale, had it on draft, abosolutely no hop character,

Fits within the broad range of an APA. Balanced correctly but there's a slight resin overtone that lingers. Not something I would order again but it's a very 'American' pale ale.

Pours cloudy medium orange amber. Small soapy white head, fairly lasting with decent lace. Aroma is sweet, medium caramel, peach, orange, overripe pineapple, perhaps a little grapefruit in there. Flavor is similar but with more bitter hop presence and a sort of sugary sweetness. Medium to light body. Finish is fairly dry, with some building pine and grapefruit bitterness. A bit watery. Tad too sweet. Perhaps past its prime.
