3.3 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20 stuckinprague (43) - - OCT 22, 2012Aroma: Light and floral.
Appearance: Brown with a dissipating head.
Taste: Very nice flavours. Citrus upfront, a touch of caramel malt from the Crystal and Munich and backed up by a floral hop flavour and bitterness.
Palate: Typical of pale ale, good session beer.
Overall: Good as most pale ales, the hop flavour is fairly unique and the floral flavours come through strongly with citrus notes. I like this beer.... but I’m a big fan of APA’s.
2.7 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20 novels (332) - Chicago, Illinois, USA - MAY 14, 2013
Next time, I’ll pass. A bit too sweet for my palate, and though it is certainly drinkable, not my favorite. Not much hop, aroma is just okay with a little floral stuff going on, but certainly wouldn’t recommend.

I really enjoyed this beer. Packed with hops and citrus flavor makes for a great beer. Nicely bitter and smells fruity

Pours a hazy yellow golden pour with a nice foamy large head. Nose is citrus and pine with a predominance of grapefruit and a dash of lemon lime.Taste is full of citrus and pine and very drinkable, and quite light. Finish is dry with some mild bitterness. A solid APA. Quaff Score 7 / 10

Pours a rusty orange with an off white head and mild aroma of light pine and caramel. Taste is bitter sweet, of caramel, hops, pine, and citrus with a dry, medium finish. Very drinkable, light APA
3.2 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 13/20 Scipio (488) - Palatine, Illinois, USA - MAR 13, 2013
Pours a hazy, bright orange with a thin white head. The aroma is good, but it is more on the lighter side. I find pine, grapefruit, and pineapple. The taste is a little mild as well. Pine and grapefruit, with a bubblegummish flavor as well. The aftertaste is pine, and while being long lasting, is faint. Medium bodied here with a slick mouthful. I have found that it has a pretty good hoppy bite. Overall, I can’t find anything particularly special. Although I will drink it without complaining.
4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 16/20 Narnad (1340) - Wonder Lake, Illinois, USA - MAR 1, 2013
Pours a very clean, amber color with a HUGE frothy white head. Aroma has a fantastic flowery, light citrus and strong pine resin nose. Flavor has a an early Munich malt toasted malt that combos well with the early pine bitterness. This transitions to a mild caramel malt sweetness with a very nice grapefruit citrus kick that carries out the finishing flavor. With its modest body, the brew holds the strong hops presence very nicely and even adds a slight dryness to it help accentuate the bitterness nicely. Overall a great beer that showcase what an APA should be with a stronger than average hopping but fantastic malt presence underneath.
3 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 11/20 akoeninger (154) - Wisconsin, USA - JAN 31, 2013
Intense hop aroma, Pine, grapefruit. Taste is very hoppy with little malt backbone. Bitter aftertaste and light almost watery finish. I’ve had better, but it still has its place with the right food.
3.8 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20 beerdetox (15) - Illinois, USA - JAN 28, 2013
Not sure why some low ratings. I live down the street so I’m probably bias. Very good, drinkable beer with nice florals and finish.
3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20 ccex (793) - Chicago, Illinois, USA - JAN 28, 2013
12 oz bottle pours a cloudy orange amber with wisps of something darker floating around inside. Has a decent white head and good lacing. Aroma is first pine, then grapefruit, followed by sweet candy malt. Taste is sweet with a bitter finish. Body is medium with a sticky mouthfeel. A decent APA I hope to try again.
3.4 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20 hondajunkie (46) - Tinley Park, Illinois, USA - JAN 28, 2013
12 oz. bottle poured vigarously into Duvel tulip a adrk amber color giving offwhite 2 finger head a sticky lacing. Aromas of pine first then light grapefruit & citrus notes, bubble gum.
Has the citrusy hop taste upfront followed by a light tatsing malty middle with a quiet piney finish. Like others,I had originaly thought this one was an IPA, but find out it is a APA and tastes and I rated as such..
Oddly, some bottles from the same 6pk tasted slightly different then others. Would buy again for sure.
