COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
This pale ale is generously hopped yet balanced through the use of Munich and Crystal malts. Hops added after fermentation gives this American classic an intense aromatic bouquet. Enjoy!

Bottle poured a clear orange amber with a lasting creamy amber head. Aromas of biscuit, pine, grapefruit and light tangerine. Palate was medium bodied and smooth with a dry finish. Flavors of biscuit, pine, light grapefruit and a hint of tangerine with a smooth dry lightly bitter finish.

12 ounce bottle from Badger in Beloit. If Beloit, Wisconsin has a better beer store, Id be surprised. Then again, Beloit College REJECTED me so I dont exactly have an encyclopedic knowledge of the town. Pours a hazy amber color with a very large frothy offwhite head. Good head retention and lacing. Slightly green floral hop aroma with a bit of a chlorine note. The taste is candied citrus, chemical notes, faint malts. Tastes weird. Kinda like how Id expect windshield cleaner to taste. The palate starts strong but instantaneously falls flat. This is just a weird beer.

This beer pours a clear orange color with a medium fluffy off-white head that evaporates slowly. Sticky rings of lacing on the glass. Aroma of piney hops and sweet malt. Medium body with a moderately bitter hops character with notes of pine and caramel malt. The finish is resiny hops with a short pine aftertaste. Decent overall.

Just not a great example of a pale ale, had it on draft, abosolutely no hop character,

Thanks to Bob for bringing this! Poured hazy medium golden with a short cap of white head. The aroma picked up lots of apples, and was not unlike the Rusty Red.. it was very hard to get past that, which only yields some bready pils malts. The flavor was an ugly mess of apples, a little caramel, and fainter light fruits with nasty apple and vegetal notes on the finish.. sharp and off. Lighter-bodied with lots of ugly sweetness. Not good.

Bottle: Pours a clear orange amber with a spotty-lacing off-white head. Aroma of fresh resiny piny hops and a mild light malty sweetness. Starts with a lightly effervescent body and faint sweet pale biscuity malts with a pretty good hop balance and assertive bitterness before a smooth, bittersweet finish. Could use a touch more sweetness and body, but this does make for a very drinkable and enjoyable session beer.

Bottle. Hazy light orange pour with a thin white head. Aroma of pineapple (thanks Landon - my 4-year-old aroma expert! Note that he is not an associate taster on my team!), pine, and hop. Medium palate. Taste is citrus hop - I like it. I think this is underrated.

Pours hazy orange with white head, aroma is some pine and citrusy hops, bit of caramel. Taste is slight citrus and pine, some sweet caramel and a slightly bitter finish. Pretty good, but for a hop forward APA its a bit weak.

Cheesehead YeAH 2007, thanks Bob: I must say I am very disappointed in these beers and the colorful website is all hype. I only hope the brewer is still in a learning curve and these improve or this brewery will not be around very long at all.

Amber hue with a fizzy head. The aroma is pure sour apple with a hint of biscuity malt. The flavor is strangely refreshing due to the acidity and chalky biscuity pale malts. Blah, a piss poor effort for an "APA"
