2.3 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 9/20
Picked up a six-pack from the new brewery in Plover, Wisconsin. From a 12-oz bottle, pours a semi-clear light amber brew with a fast dissolving off-white head that leaves behind a thin white ring. Aroma of strong apple skin, a touch of caramel malt and some green vegetable character. Taste is light bodied, well-carbonated with flavors of apple skin, some light caramel malt and a touch of citrus zest hops. Finish is light, a little watery with an apple skin aftertaste.

3.2 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 13/20
12 oz bottle from the Wisco/Minnesota trip. Getting there on finishing these up. Pours a decent amber glowing hue, touches of haze grow with more golden glowing edges. Well carbonated with a fairly big beige head that cakes, laces ok overall and dies to a thicker film. Aromas are a blend of sweet malts, pale grainy breads meet a healthy portion of toffee, caramel, and toast moving into florals and grass, touches of fragrant soap, and a decent kick of citrusy lemon, grapefruit. Deadened a bit. Crisp, decent hopping. Initial is lighter end of medium bodied preaching some clean bitter hops up front, grassy, floral and a touch metallic. Some deadened fruitiness, florals, touches of gumball and a bit of grapefruit and tropical fruit. Subtle, with a decent dry bitter finish, grass and florals. This one wants to let the fruity hops in, but it really only gives a subtle lighter feel for them. A bit of orange, grapefruit. Instead, staying dry and earthy hopped, maybe a bit sharp in some parts. The more healthy malt body on the nose is a bit softer than I anticipated, sweeter bread and biscuits, toast, not venturing too much into the thicker sweeter caramel. Finish is clean, mellow malty biscuits and dry grass and florals. Ok, lacking complexity. Itís a solid beer but seems to lack depth and a vibrant flavor. Ok. Has an exceptionally strong carbonation that could use some fine tuning.

3.1 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
Amber color with a tall, dense, beige head. Fairly light in scent, but mild caramel, grapefruit and slightly floral aromas. Woody malt and light citric notes. Fair balanced. Goldenrod notes in the finish and linger. Seems to have an english malt flair with an american buttress.

2.9 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20
Clear copper - soapy lace - thin and watery texture - tastes a little metallic and coppery up front - lightly citric and woody hops - moderate acidity followed by some bready malt and light caramel - meh.

2.6 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 9/20
12 oz bottle. Pours a slightly hazy dark copper body with a small off-white head that faded to a wispy partial covering. Lightly citrusy and piney hops overlay a hefty crystal malt dominated maltiness. Thereís a nice bitterness level with an interesting tropical fruit quality to the hops. The heavy crystal malt flavor doesnít do anything positive for me though. I actually dislike it more and more as I make my way thru the bottle. The sugary sweetness and iced tea finish is a pretty big turn-off. Light to medium bodied with soft fizzy carbonation.

Another one from Skyview! Copper color and a very thin head. Slightly bitter aroma. A pinch of apple. Slightly grainy taste. A little bitterness. Not much hop-specific bitterness, but an okay APA.

Not bad at all. Solid malt base with fresh bread, with aromatic and mildly bitter hops. Very drinkable, and a dry finish. Clear, brown beer.

On Tap at the Great Lakes Brewfest. Amber with no head. Aroma of citrus, caramel and fruit. Taste of citrus, caramel, floral hops and some sweet malt. Mild bitter after taste that citrusy and for some odd reason I taste noodles in here too.

3.6 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
12oz bottle. Medium thick orange-brown color, minimal head. Sweet balanced aroma. Medium bodied. A pretty nice pale ale, with some taosty caramel maltiness backed up by a solid earthy hop bill. Earthy and sweet aftertaste. Mild bitterness, but solidly hopped. Smooth, easy, and classic while still displaying itís quality ingredients.
