Feb 5, 2008 Had this one bottled, thank you Slothgar! Hazy, bright amber pour with a rapidly dissipating off-white head, a powerful nose of rosy hops and a little bit of sour apple. Mouthfeel is prominent. Taste is excellent, even for this style, complex with hops at the top of an assortment of fruits. Good, strong finish. This was really quite good.

Sep 1, 2009 12oz bottle. Medium thick orange-brown color, minimal head. Sweet balanced aroma. Medium bodied. A pretty nice pale ale, with some taosty caramel maltiness backed up by a solid earthy hop bill. Earthy and sweet aftertaste. Mild bitterness, but solidly hopped. Smooth, easy, and classic while still displaying it’s quality ingredients.

Sep 18, 2008 Aroma not as hoppy as the name would indicate, slight mix of grassy and citrus hop, flavor was interesting,an unusual mix of crystal and Munich malt,and a difinite indication of diacetyl,which in this case did not seem to ruin the flavor,different enough to be tried again,not ballsy enough to be memorable

Sep 20, 2008 On Tap at the Great Lakes Brewfest. Amber with no head. Aroma of citrus, caramel and fruit. Taste of citrus, caramel, floral hops and some sweet malt. Mild bitter after taste that citrusy and for some odd reason I taste noodles in here too.

May 18, 2009 Pours a dark amber color with a beige head. Aromas of sweet caramel malt dominate the aroma with wiffs of citrus hops peeking through.Flavor of malt and citrus hop that end in a nice bitter finish.Body seems to be a little watery and thin.Noticeable diacetly flavor hidden in there as well.Not bad,but not fantastic.Thanks for the bottle Brewblackhole!

Oct 3, 2008 Pours cloudy orange color with a light frothy white head. Aroma is very light, a little caramel malts and a bit piney hops. Taste is about the same. Some weird citrus in the background and medium bitterness. Balanced and highly-drinkable, but not very memorable.

Jul 26, 2009 Sample at the brewery. Orangish pour with a thick white head. Light hop aroma. Taste was similar, more light hoppiness, didn’t linger very long, good drinker.
