Memory Lane is a German Pilsner style beer, brewed with all German hops, Munich and Pilsner malt. The hops are the showcase of this beer and last through the finish. Expect light and crisp, yet flavorful from the hops. We are releasing this beer on draught July 28th, then in bottles starting November, which is Alzheimer’s Awareness Month. This will be added to our lineup our year round offerings, and we have pledged to continue to give 5% of the proceeds of every beer sold to the Alzheimer’s Association of Wisconsin for the life of the beer. Grandpa would be proud!

Always looking for a good pilsner. This one was ok, I think I prefer Czech style pilsners over german. I will definitely finish the six pack though.

On tap at Dexters, pours a hazy gold with a thin bubbly white head, the aroma has a nice amount of fruit and crackers, the flavor is very crisp and clean with some bread notes mixed in with a little bit of fruit in the finish, light and easy drinking, really enjoyed this.

Bottle thanks to nuplastikk: Pours a clear deep golden with a clingy-lacing white head. Has a lightly sweet pale malty nose with some soft grainy notes and fresh grassy noble hops. Body starts with decent fullness and effervescent carbonation with a mild sweetness and fresh noble hop bitter balance before a drier, crisp finish. True to style and quite drinkable.

On tap at Lunar Brewing Co., and shaker served with a lightly hazed, light gold color, with a modest layer of white head foam, and good cling to the curtainy lacing. The aroma was slightly stinky yeast, light graininess, Pils malt, and a touch of corn silk. The body was lighter than medium, carbonation was lively, and a moderate, earthy, hop bitterness tandemed with a lingering dryness through the finish. Decent, sessionable German Pils.

12 oz. bottle. Pours a pale golden color with a small white head. Aroma of cracker and bready malts, mild grass hops with a bit stronger leaf hop presence. Flavor is dry, crisp, nice crackery malt and with a mild bitterness. Light bodied with a effervescent carbonation. Finishes clean and a touch on the bitter side. Nice pilsner.

12oz bottle from Otto’s Wine Cask. Pours a lightly cloudy yellow color with a white head. Aroma is bready, grain, corn, a little yeasty. Medium on the palate with creamy carbonation. Flavor is bitter, hoppy, grassy, a little bit of cereal sweetness, with a heavy, bitter finish.

Sweeter pilsner with spices that sort of settle at the bottom. I dumped the last little bit out.

12oz bottle. Transparent yellow-tan, thin oily white head. Has an earthy bohemian feel, but also dirty and grainy. Mellow lager tones and mild noble hops, grassy and earthy. Kind of like Czech factory beer, which is better than US factory beer sometimes. Mundane and mediocre.

Bottle - First of all...thank you O’so--more Pilsener, please! Second of all, good form on the 5% to Alzheimer’s Association. On to the beer--it pours clear gold with a thin foamy white head. Nose is crisp herbal hops, light pale dry malt, and a dusty yeastiness. Notes of honey. Taste is the same--real light and crisp pale malt, a bit watery with some grassy/herbal hops on the finish. Slick and smooth in the mouth, with a fuller body than I would have guessed. Tasty, but doesn’t quite rise to the level I was hoping it would. Still, so glad to get a 6-pack of this than another nondescript IPA.

Not a world-class pils but very nice considering it is from the US. Nice bitterness, a refreshing beverage.
