COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Specially brewed for O'so Brewing Company's Grand Opening, celebrate the heat of the summer with a Belgian style Saison. Brewing using traditional farmhouse techniques brings out the spicy, fruity flavor overload that Saison is known for. What's a picnic without ants?

Bottle:   Orangish straw, thick hazy, moderate spritzy white head, spotty lacing.   Bright yeasty nose, slightly floral, smidgen of unripened fruit and berries.   Also has a cheesy mustiness to it.   Barnish on the tongue, yeasty, a bit floral, but also somewhat mealy.   Bubbley in the mouth, body is moderate.   Finishes with a definite floral punch, but also has this bright breadiness to it that somewhat reminds me of American made Tripels.   Lingering mealiness.   Decent example in that it certainly seems like a Saison, a hefty one at that.   Didn’t really care for the mealiness, but its not over the top at least.   Enjoyable, and certainly very flavorful!   Thanks Bob!

Bottle. Clear light orange pour with almost no head. Hay and mild citrus on the nose. Medium-light palate. Taste is hay, grapefruit, and lower carbonation. Decent, but a bit empty.

12 ounce bottle from Woodmans Madison West. Pours a clear golden color with a medium sized offwhite head. Poor head retention. Aroma of citrus and stone fruits, and candi sugar. Tart throughout. The taste is pineapple, citrus, plum, earthy and tart notes. Almost a barnyard like note. Medium bodied. Pretty tasty.

Pours a cloudy orange body with gold highlights and has a small off white head that leaves little lacing and settles quickly. It smells a bit citrusy and a bit like hay. It tastes a bit sweet a little sour twist at the end. For 7.1% this beer is very drinkable though I do wish there was a bit more carbonation. Thanks to JoePeesie for the sample.

An average Siason, surprisingly low carbonation. It smells and looks of dried hay. Pours with no head at all. If you run across it and are in the mood to try a new Siason, it is worth picking up and trying but it, much like real ants at a picnic not something to seek out. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Draft. Poured clear orange copper with an average fizzy white head that was mostly lasting with good lacing. Medium to heavy yeast fruit aroma. Medium body with a smooth texture and soft carbonation. Medium spice sweet flavor with a medium bittersweet finish of moderate duration. This is a solid beer.

Good seasonal from Oso. Pours a hazy golden with a thin, white head. Strong citrus aroma. A bit sour taste with spice and orange flavors. Fizzy on the palate with little bite at the finish. Good summer beer from a great micro.

CLoudy amber-gold in color. Floral hops, spice, clove, apricot, some tang/acidity. Sweet fruity flavor, banana, peach/apricot, followed by a decent bitterness that finishes with some acidity. Some alcohol. Decent, but little choppy flavor-wise.
