Bottle 75 cl. Pours a cloudy orangey brown with a smallish off-white head. Very sophisticated tart aroma, very woody with underlying caramel. Medium-bodied, heavy carbonation, again a lovely woody/caramellish note with Brett thrown in. Tart but never astringent. Very nice indeed. 130913

Bottle:   Deep dirty reddish brown, floaties, thin sandy head, frothy, little lacing.   Sour nose, a bit fruity and funky.   Unripened cherries are strong.   Smells real good.   Sweet and tart up front, A little sugary, but it is tart enough on the backside to balance it out.   Moderate to full body and mouthfeel.   Sweet and tart on the finish, slightly dry, unripened cherries, a little woody.   This was much better than expected, not as dry and sour as others, but that’s okay by me.   A bit sweeter than others as well.   Pleasantly surprised.   Thanks Bob!

Dark amber pour with a khaki head. Nose of cherry, raisin, caramel, and red wine vinegar. Hints of lemon, some oak, and a nice fruit jam sweetness. The flavor is a good balance of sweet and sour. Cherry, raisin, berries, and grapes. Some red wine vinegar, a bit of oak, and light lemon notes. Caramel and chocolate malt sweetness, too.
