COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Cask; Regular (formerly Occasional).
A full bodied ruby red ale with subtle chocolate malt character. Inital maltiness leads to citrus, spice and bitterness at the end. A rare Slovenian variety of hop provides both bitter finish and the aroma.

Cask @ brewery tap brentford. ) ok a shit-tune of malts..big rich and also chocoalty suggesting bitter roast. Some dry golding hop notes....rather syrupy textured. its not bad ...would rather be drinking Chiswick in a Fullers pub though.

cask Kings Head Carlisle. Deep red, dry and hoppy, slightly tart with some biscuit. Short finish, but a good full flavoured session beer. Very enjoyable

It’s big, it’s red, it might make you good in bed. But I’m not sure, because I’m more focused on real ales.

Cask. Red rusty ale with a thick offwhite head. Malty, straw and lemongrass nose. Rich full-bodied mouthfeel with bags of malt, some light chocolates, cereals and lemon. Really nice and robust.

Cask at the Red Lion in the Jewelery Quarter, Birmingham. Reddish brown clear pour with a thin white frothy head. A hint of spicy hops in the aroma which pretty much dominates the flavour too. I'm not a fan of red ales, but this example was more than drinkable by virtue of its spicy liqourice palate.

Gravity dispense at the twelfth Twickenham Beer Festival - 18/10/12. Clear russett brown with a thin bubbly off white head. Biscuit malts on the nose and a hoppy aroma. Tastes of caramel, biscuit, light grapefruit notes, hops. Medium bodied with a bitter dry finish.

Half pint, cask ale at The Hop in Leeds. Good looking with a body that is golden-brown,covered by a decent fawn-coloured head blanketing the top level of the glass. Smell of berries and bread-like malts. Jam-like flavour from a fine blend of dark fruits and dark malts. Dusty hoppy ending. Good (12.07.2012).

Cask. The Postern Gate (JDW), York. Thin white head. Copper-auburn reddish tinged body. Spice, nuts, fruit, chocolate. Sort of bittersweet to taste leaving a bitter finish. The sweetness is too sickly and artificial tasting. The bitterness is too harsh. Not a big fan of red beers.

Cask at Ye Olde Mitre, London. Red amber color. Aromas and flavors of dark caramel, wine gums and nuts. Lots of dark caramel, which is not my cup of beer.

Light brown with thin white head. Toffee aroma. Light watery thin body. Toffee, coffee, and a sweet caramel ash finish. Blackberry. Light bitter start with a sweet end. Yummy sweet
