Cask handpump at Fanny’s Ale House, Saltaire. Clear, golden colour with big creamy white head. Aroma is hoppy and floral. Flavours are smooth and subtle, some citrus, light bitterness, very drinkable. Very good.

A Mes rate:
Ramsgate beer fest.
Sweet aroma but very bitter. Citric and floral notes as usual. Swings and roundabouts really.

Really bitter, too bitter perhaps, and with a strong sweet flowers aroma. I guess it is the hops, but wasn’t not bad.

Pale gold colour. Fresh as a daisy and just as floral. Brash, spicy hops. Intensely aromatic. Lychees and grapefruit in the flavour. Some bite on the finish. Maybe not the most complex beer, but just what a golden ale should be. Cask (gravity dispense), White Cliffs Beer Festival, February 2005.

A floral buiscuity nose is how I would describe this amber coloured ale. A well balanced ale with grapefuit tones in the taste and a good degree of bitterness.

Sampled cask conditioned at Nynäshamn Real Ale Festival, Sweden.
Cloudy pale golden. Strong grassy aroma. Dry, hoppy, crisp and bitter. Quite a lot of butterscotch. The mouthfeel is deliciously soft, making in a real thirst quencher sharing a lot of similiarities with really good German pilseners. Odd, genious and simple, all at once.
