Cask; Occasional.
A strong, heavily hopped and robust IPA. Moderate bitterness, but intense aroma from new-season New Zealand Nelson Sauvin hops. This unique variety imparts a white wine fruitiness.

Cask@ Hilden beer fest 2012 Wow, this is a good beer. Pours hazy amber with strong juicy orange juice nose, reminding me of simcoe. In the taste its all about the NS though, lots of pithy mango and grape juice, spot on condition, enough malt to balance and a good bitter finish.

5th Sep 2012 and I’m in The Fighting Cocks, Oakengates: the only pub owned by the Ironbridge Brewery. This was one of their guest beers; I had a hand-pulled pint. Light amber body below a full head of white bubbles, looked fine. As the name suggests this is a hop orientated brew; although having tried some American ‘Hop Monsters’, this isn’t in the same league. No where near as bitter or aromatic, but still extremely hoppy for the UK. I am not a huge hop lover but this went down very nicely and I would have had another if I hadn’t been on a mission to try more beers on the night.

Cask conditioned at Minehead Beer Fest ’12. Hazy gold with no head. Dry and bittering certainly, but ’Hop Monster’, not sure about that. Some orange peel hops, lingering but no real depth. It’s ok.

a good brew. pours a hazy white yellow with a good head that stayed down the glass. not a miassive amount going on in th earoma, but the tste had a decent amount of hoppage - citrusy. a clean palate with quite a dry bitter finish. "Hop Monstor" might be slightly over egging it, but for and english brew maybe not. cask from Cross Key, Knaresborough

Cask conditioned handpump Last Plantaganet Leicester. A blonde beer with a white head and lacing. Super citrus hops throughout. Grapefruit oranges and lemons. A funky hop bill and plenty of them. Very tasty and well balanced as well as being suitably named.
