May 27, 2007 Unretired and in a plastic pint pot, Whitefriars, Coventry. Pale and lagery with a delightfully offensive eggy snout. Puckering grapefruit hopsackiness and struck matches in the mouth with traces of biscuit in the aftertaste. Robust, sulphurous and rather good.

May 15, 2005 Cask Conditioned at The Waggon & Horses, Tipton, W.Midlands. Pale straw with little head. This is a sweetish, light beer, very restrained on flavour, almost watery. Little outstanding, quite boring really.
