Cask conditioned handpump Sun Hardingstone 24/12/13. A golden coloured beer with a white head and lace. Grassy bitterness in the nose. Decently balanced in the mouth with nice late citrus flavours. Drinkable but not Seasonal. Didn’t get any of the promised spice.

4.2 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 17/20
Cask at the Euston Tap. Pours clear, rich gold with a cloud-like, creamy white head. Nose of butter, bread, straw and crackers. Lovely flavor, brilliantly balanced. Sweet cracker malts and light honey lend sweetness, then straw, light grass and lemon zest bitter things up a bit. Medium bodied with fine to average carbonation. Finishes nice and dry with further notes of crackery, leaf and straw hops and hints of citrus. This is just an incredibly drinkable and tasty beer. Well done, Ossett.

3.3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Cask at The Hop Pole, Aylesbury, Bucks, 09-12-09 Pours warm gold with a white head. The bitterness is quite raspy, pithy and with a grapefruit being the most noticeable fruit in what is clearly quite a citrus flavour, furry bitterness on roof of mouth. Starts sweet but ending quite dry a good beer all round. A6 A4 F7 P3 Ov13

3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
Cask conditioned at The Woolpack, Banbury. Pale gold with white head. Light summery type beer rather than a winter warmer. Lightly roasted malts with a cereal, weetabix, type flavour then a green graasy hop, crisp and orange citrus. Good decent beer, but perhaps not for sub zero temps.
