UPDATED: MAY 28, 2009 Cask - JDW, Canterbury. Pale gold with a creamy white head. Citrusy aromas, some spice and grassiness. A Mes rate: Cask at The Crown. About as gold as a beer gets with a good white head. Lemon and grassy hop aroma with a nice earthy note. Straight down the line drinkable hoppy stuff in the mouth. Lovely dry finish. Once again a beer served at its best in the Crown.

3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20 Rastacouere (6045) - Montreal, Quebec, CANADA - NOV 23, 2007
Pale golde pour covered by a tight white cover. This feels like a middle-of-the-road blonde with the usual grainy and strawy malts and a sloppiness to go far beyonds. The dryness seems to come mostly from its minerality as its hops are quite devoid of aromas besides the mildest floral feel. No nonsense and no surprises.
