quite an average beer really, not a patch on the regular pale it replaced at my local, the brewers gold, but still does the trick. just didn’t feel much like a bitter on the way down.

Ossett brewery seems to specialise in pale coloured beers, and this is no exception. Very pale in colour, rather floral (American hops apparently) and refreshing. Some bite, but not very bitter. A fair, but unremarkable summer session beer. The Speaker, London SW1, July 2003
