bobinlondon (220), Harrow, Greater London, England Jul 16, 2008 Handpulled cask at the Nascott Arms,Watford. Straw coloured with a thich lacy white head. Very coplex with juicy malt and multi-layered citric hop notes. What a superb summer ale. Fin (2357), Merton, Oxfordshire, England Jun 15, 2008 Cask at The Cross Keys, Pangbourne, leg 5 of the Thames Tipple (Goring to Wargrave) 14-06-08 Almost straw coloured beer with a thin white head of bubbles. Some sweet malts and hops on the nose, but also a little citruss gives you an indication of where this might head. The hops hit you straight away in the mouth quite citrussy, but then they subside, quite bitter at times but also juicy and fruity, ferociously dry at the end, I liked this (Loz loved it) but for me this could have been done just a little more subtley and it would have been a much beet beer. mabel (1673), Toronto, Ontario, Canada Dec 23, 2007 [678-20070924] Cask @ Royal Oak (Bath, SM). Grassy hops aroma has hints of lemon and grapefruit flesh. Clear, orange brown body with a small medium-lasting bubbly white head. Grapefruit flesh continues in flavour with just a hint of lemon citrus hops. Medium body has a nice grainy bitter finish. Classic hoppy beer. Golden coloured and pale. Slightly creamy on the palate with some dryness in the finish. SilkTork (3941), Rochester, Kent, England Aug 17, 2003 Cask, Crown & Thistle, Gravesend. Sweet and fruity with grapefruit, passionfruit, lemon, banana - phew! - a cornocopia of flavours, soft and interweaving. Refreshing, tasty, complex - an absolute gem!
