COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Cask; Occasional - most recently July 2011.
A very popular “old favourite”. Brewed from English pale malt and Santiam hops from Oregon State in the USA. This very pale ale with delicate floral hop aroma and hints of tropical fruits has moderate bitterness.

On cask (gravity dispense) at Chelmsford Beer Festival on 15 July 2011. Clean gold. Excellent condition. Very lemony. Sharp and refreshing. Straightforward but appealing. In line with the usual Ossett profile.

On cask at The Bow Bar Summer Beer Festival. A light golden beer with a lacy white head. Aroma of yeast and caramel with some lemon citrus. Flavours of barley, malt and peppery, citrusy hops. A little thin. Bitter finish.

Clear medium yellow color with a average, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, white to off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, toasted, moderate hoppy, grapefruit, lemon. Flavor is moderate sweet and moderate to light light peel bitter with a average to long duration, fresh. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft to flat. [20100116]

The Babington, Derby. Straw and lacy. Lemon sherbet, flowers and hay aroma. Rich Tea malts, fresh biscuit, more lemon sherbet, elderflower. Pale and slightly lovely. Definitely in the top 4 beers I’ve had today.
