Pours pale yellow/gold with a hint of green. Taste is fairly standard pale-ale, moderately sweet, a little grainy and a mild dry-ish herbal finish. Reasonable.

Pale straw coloured ale with a crisp citrus flavour. Quite lagerish in it’s approach. Not bad.

Cask, Dispensary, Liverpool. Clear golden colour with a thin lingering white head and decent lacing. Citrus hops the main theme here. Bit soapy, and started to tire of this as the glass went down wishing I hadn’t ordered a pint. Just not very interesting

Cask at the Old Manor (JDW), Bracknell. Pale straw with a thin white head; citrus aroma; simple citrus flavour with an underlying bready dough body; puch bitter finish, and an aftertaste of powdered ginger. Strange.

Cask at The Wellington, Birmingham. Clear straw appearance, with a short head and some suspended particles just below the head. Fruity, grapefruit scent. Watery, bitter and very dry. Lots of lemon, and floral in the mouth, with a hint of a sweeter peach on the end. Nice but the bitterness was maybe too overpowering.
