Our flagship brew, and the winner of many beer festivals. This lager style beer with a crisp, dry flavour and citrus fruity aroma is ideal for drinking anytime, but is partcularly well suited to the Spring and Summer months.

UPDATED: OCT 23, 2009 Cask conditioned - gravity dispense - Chelmsford BF. A golden coloured beer with a nice citric hoppy aroma. The taste has good hoppiness as well, but it seemed a tad past its best and farty. Otherwise not bad but could be better.Score 3.1

Cask conditioned Chelmsford beer festival, 2006. Blonde. Hoppy aroma. Strong, sweet malt with a hoppy finish. A nice golden ale but a bit too much body for a summer day.

Aroma is grassy hops, with a little amount of sulphur which breaks it a little. Taste is seriously minimal, very light body though quite bitter.

Cask Conditioned at Merton Beer Festival Sat 18th Feb. Pale gold, hoppy and crisp, a little bit of citrus with some bitterness to finish, a nice beer but not as good as I remebered.

UPDATED: APR 30, 2006 Well, I saw it come, the name "Silver" is not too much a guarantee if you see it in a Beer, it was a little squashy and bubbling in the foam, very pale is so.

(Cask at The Willow Walk (JDW), Victoria, London) Clear straw body with white head. Aroma is medium sweet, peach, light caramel. Taste is medium sweet, peach, some floral. Watery light body that lacks carbonation and really reduces the enjoyment of an otherwise enjoyable beer.
