Cask at The Wellington, Birmingham. Clear straw appearance, with a short head and some suspended particles just below the head. Fruity, grapefruit scent. Watery, bitter and very dry. Lots of lemon, and floral in the mouth, with a hint of a sweeter peach on the end. Nice but the bitterness was maybe too overpowering.

Sep 5, 2008 very pale yellow,thick creamy head,very slight hop nose ,light fruity very hoppy quite drying in linger little bitterness. very crisp and clean edged.

Jun 13, 2008 Cask at the Old Manor (JDW), Bracknell. Pale straw with a thin white head; citrus aroma; simple citrus flavour with an underlying bready dough body; puch bitter finish, and an aftertaste of powdered ginger. Strange.

May 4, 2008 The Buck and Bell, Long Itchington ’08. Anaemic yellow, slightly misty, nitro-creamy. Shandyish flat lemonade aroma. Hay, watery citrus, pleasantly mealy cornflake afters. 40% lager hops. No off-notes or anything, but Heineken’s got more hop character than this dribble of tedium. What’s the point?

Mar 27, 2008 Cask at the Blue Bell, York. Aroma and taste of hay and citrus. A bit disappointing in its blandness. Not bad, but not great.
