Cask (gravity) - Norwich Beer Festival 2011. Poured with a loose & bubbly small white head on top of a clear golden coloured body. Grain & lemon aromas. Buttery, grainy flavour with a slight toastiness beneath & a solid lemon tone shining through. Light to medium body, soft & smooth mouthfeel, medium strength & length bitterness with a mild floral note at the end and some biscuity sweetness in the aftertaste.

Cask Conditioned, at the Wenlock Arms, London.
Pale golden (but not yellow), only the thinnest of heads. Pineapple aroma and flavour. Cloying on the palate and ultimately delivering strong, full & deep bitterness.

The Cellar, St. Andrews. The commercial description says grapefruit flavour. Odd... I'd think I'd remember that. Certainly on the fruity side with some hops added in. It's a different brew.

(Cask) Golden, with yellowish tinge. Little skim of head. Caramel, toffee, caramelised cookies in the nose. Taste at odds with the smell; hoppy, citrussy, refreshing. Nice contrast. Mouthfeel is light and refreshing, not thinnish. I'm starting to like this brewery.
