Cask; Regular. Also available bottled.
A brand new addition to the line-up for 2010, this pale coloured ale is full bodied, well-rounded and slightly sweet on the palate.
A generous late addition of Mount Hood hops result in a delicate fruity hop aroma.

Bottle (conditioned?) from Rhythm & Booze, Barton upon Humber. Gold, good lasting fluffy white head and gentle condition. Pleasant lemony citrus with a faint trace of sulphur and a touch of sweet malt, quite full and malty in the mouth but with a solid balancing hop bitterness laced with citrus and a slight peppery spiciness which lingers into the finish to be complemented by a drawn out insistent bitterness that never overwhelms.

Cask at The Waters Green Tavern, Macclesfield. Gold with a thin white head. Again, typical beer served in this pub. He does a good job but please give me something more than typical English golden ales. Lemons and citrus, hops, bit of malt, touch of sweetness and a dry finish. Not that interesting to me.

500ml bottle (4.5% version) from t’Asda - Pale yellow body, thin white head. Crisp floral and citrus nose, a bit faint mind you. Taste has a clean lemon, sweetish citrus, and little grassiness on the way down. Bit thin on the mouthfeel, otherwise not bad.

Cask at the Rat & Ratchet on 19th February 2011. Pale, straw coloured with thin white head. Grapefruit citrus in aroma and main bodytaste, and a brief scent of soapiness. Very citric lingering aftertaste again - mainly grapefruit; smooth mouthfeel.

Pours a pale colour, refreshing taste with slight hops and bitter on the palate, not exciting though
