Draught @ Osterbrau. Little bit cloudy, white long-life head, amber colour, light ginger aroma, light body, good fizziness, ginger-honey taste, ginger-honey palate, no hop bitterness. Not bad.

Draught at the Osterbräu, Budapest, Hungary as Osterbräu Gyömbér.
I’m not sure if this is the same since there was no honey (mézes) mentioned and there was nothing in aroma/taste that indicates the presence of honey (lucky me!). Clear golden colour with small white head. Some ginger or/and mint freshness and vegetables in malty aroma. Malt, mild vegetables, weak ginger and some strange sweetness in flavour. For a ginger beer very disappointing. Not that festive for a regular lager either. Gets pretty unpleasant when warms a little bit.

Színe tükrös borostyán, közepes méretű, krémes fehér habbal a tetején.

Draught at Osterbrau (Domony), Budapest. Dark amber with a medium laced beige head. Nose and flavour of caramel, nuts, herbs and grass. I couldn’t really detect the ginger but there was a strange lingering taste in the finish so that was probably it. Harsh spiced finish. One glass was more than enough.

Draught at the Osterbräu bar, Tölgyfa u., Budapest. Copper body, small white head. Light malty, woody nose. The taste isn’t all that flashy. Woody maltiness, some notes of lemon and a weak weak spice that might just be the ginger. Some dust too. Hmm... not bad at all but expected more from a beer with such a name.

Ruby-Tan colored lager from a hefty mug. Very refreshing and lightly carbonated. It was my first beer from the walk over from the HEV train. Lots of caramel in the nose.Tthe ginger comes across first with a little bitterness, followed by heavy caramel flavor ending with a little honey sweetness.

The ginger one. it reminds me (the ginger) for medicine, so it was heavy bitter initial flavour, then it turns to acidic. Creamy but diminishing head; red , murky medium body; flat carbonation, the short finish is a bit salty and chalky also.

Nice clear amber coloured, medium sized off-white head, dusty almost neutral nose. Mild malty, caramel and honey with discreet notes of ginger. Touch of cherries?! in the finish. Easy drinkable beer.
