33 cl. bottle @ home. Dark amber with an off-white head. Fruity aroma with some cinnamon(?). Earthly flavour with some smokey roasted malts. Quite unique taste, at least for me, and I tend to like it. Very interesting.

Grima (2101) - Saarburg, Rhineland-Palatinate, GERMANY - AUG 5, 2011
Pours a bright ruby red beer with a huge creamy head. Smells malty sweet, slightly earthy in the background. Starts pronounced malty, slightly roasty, pleasantly sour in the background, which is perfectly complemented with the yeast. The finish shows very roasted malty, full-bodied, slightly bitter, with a subtle smokiness.

Test vom 24.4.2006, Gebinde: Glasflasche Noten: 14,12,14,10,9,10 - 11,25

33 cL bottle. Pours with a creamy head, brilliant appearance, brown. Yeast sediment in the bottle. Nose: Hoppy, grassy. Flavor: Malt, caramel, slight bitterness with a grassy note, slightly oxidized. Medium body with lively carbonation, aftertaste turns from malty to bitter. All in all a tasty beer with a grassy note and some malty and caramel body with a malty and tart aftertaste.

Tasting at Papsø
Dark amber color; small creamy head. The caramel aroma is slightly oxidised, so the flavor; it tastes old. Not very pleasant.

Bottled. A deep red beer with a light cloudiness under a thin orangey head. The aroma has notes of caramel, bread, and a bit of spices. The flavor is sweet with notes of bread, spices, lemon, straw, and caramel, leading to a dry bready and lemony finish. Thanks fonefan/Papsoe for sharing.
