Very clean clear golden body, diminishing white bubbly head. Aroma; hops, green grass, unripe apples, mild caramel malts. Taste; caramel malts, hops, grainy notes, bread. Normal on palate. Finishes with hops, grainy bread, some malts. Hoppy fading finish. Overall absolutely decent pilsener. [50cl green btl 5.1%abv l2° BB26.09.14]

Brown 500ml bottle best before Sept 2007, drank on a cold and wet evening in Feb 2007. Poured into my small Budweiser Budvar tasting glass (0.2 litre), it looks good, clean, pale golden with a good white head. Looks like a lager, which is what it should look like. Hops and some citrus aromas came up my nose. Good smooth tasting beer, a good example of a light European pilsner. A slight harshness, which gives it the edge over most pilsners that I’ve tried. Do lagers to have any mouthfeel? No not really and this is no exeption to that rule. This is an OK lager and I would have another in preference to quiet a few other Euro fizz beers. The brewery may well be owned by Inbev, but the beer is not bad.

500mL bottle a friend brought back for me from a trip to the Czech Republic. Pours a bright gold with a small white head. Aroma is nice, some sharp Saaz hops and pils malt, not a whole lot else going on. Flavour is good, hops hit right away, kind of piney and dry, with some decent malt backbone. Body is very light and spritzy, finishes well with some good hop flavour. Not outstanding but still pretty well done. I’d drink it again.

Vybalancované pivo - pěkná zlatá barva, plná chuť/ spíše sladší, ale s řízem. Pěna drží, pivo chutná. Pro mne, ač milovníka hořkých piv, přijatelnější než euroRadegast
