3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
Thick cream-coloured head over orangeish-golden beer. Ureum, pine, resing, citrus, citruspeel. Malts and hops vying for supremacy. The citrus is dominant, but the rich malts always remain present. Feels well-bodied, some alcoholwarming. More than decent, and especially, drinks away quite dangerously. Thanks to Mathieu and Louis!

3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Pours a hazy orange with a medium white head...nice lacing and retention. Aroma has some tangy citrus and pine. Flavor is resinous and piney...firm bitterness...grassy and herbal...just a bit of sweet caramely malt. Mouthfeel is medium and the finish is dry and very resinous/bitter.

Tap Takeover. Kings Arms. Keg. Hazy gold - amber beer, small pale cream colour head. Palate is smooth but run through with very fine carbonation. Fluffy sweet creamy malts. Good spicy pine hops, followed by nice citrus fruits. A touch of skunk precedes more pine and a whisper of tropical fruits. Finishes soft and hop spicy. For a 10.5% DIPA, this goes down very easy.

Can. Poured a hazy golden color with an averaged sized head. Dank, skunky, floral, pine, citrus, fruity, and just all around nice hoppiness. A little on the sweeter side, but damn it was good.

A real fucking big beer. It’s got the nose you’d hope for in this heavy of a beer, and it’s of course a bit sweet for me, and I’d probably get down one pint before I got exhausted.

4 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
Tasted on 10/10/15 from a 16oz can, huge thanks to Jake and Pete. Pours bright orange with a thick off-white head that slowly recedes to thick, very sticky lace. The nose is super dank with tons of pine resin, grapefruit and orange peel, a touch of grassy, tropical fruit, and some nice caramel malt. The flavor seems sweet due to the ABV, but is nicely balanced by the perfect amount of bitterness, tropical fruit, citrus peel, and dank resin. The body is massive with average carbonation and a long very bitter, malty, tropical fruit, and citrus peel finish.
