[6283-20140420] Tap. Fragrant orange flesh hops aroma. Hazy, orange body with a medium-lasting foamy white head. Bitter orange pine resin flavour. Medium-full body is fairly bitter. Delicious. (9/4/9/4/17) 4.3

Draught @ Other Half Brewing, Brooklyn

Pours dark orange with a small bubbly white head. Aroma of toffee, caramely malts, loads of fruits, apricot, grass, citrus, pine and mango. Taste is sweetish, malty and juicy fruity with loads of bitterness, caramel, pine, grass and citrus. Finish is malty, sweet and hoppy with some bitterness, pine and resin. Alcohol comes through a bit too much and could be even more aggressive. Still tasty, though.

APPEARANCE - Opaque light amber with a 1-finger white head that dissipates after 2 min. Some lacing SMELL/AROMA/SCENT - Piney, sweet, fresh fruit. TASTE - Dry, piney, ABV well-hidden, nice bitter aftertaste MOUTHFEEL/PALATE/TEXTURE - Light, with good carbonation. OVERALL/DRINKABILITY - Very nice beer.

On draft at Alewife. Really interesting - this really tastes like a cross between a big ipa & a tripel - lots of sweetness, bitterness, & hop aromatics. It has that unnamed resiny hop side. Citrus pith. Very good.

Draft at tasting room. Pours clear amber with small head. Aroma is sweet malts, orange, pineapple, strawberry, mango, pine, booze. Taste is sweet pineapple and candied grapefruit with a harsh aftertaste of lingering booze. I can see why people like this but I think this needs more balance to rein in the alcohol heat.

Very flavorful, intense, but perfectly toes the line between crisp and creamy. Surprised that it’s 10%

UPDATED: JUN 19, 2014 Tap pour. Clean amber gold in glass. Decent head. Nose of subdued hop perfume, mild hemp. Taste is dank hops, lush green goodness. Slightly creamy. Slight kick at the end. Fine carbonation. High abv hid well.

Growler from the brewery. Pours clear gold with a creamy, white head. Lots of dank citrus in the nose, orange, mango pine. Medium sweet flavor with rich citrus fruits, moderate bitterness, some alcohol presence, some ripe tropical fruits, anise. Medium to full bodied with fine to average carbonation. Moderately resinous to finish with decent alcohol warmth, some further tropical fruits, melon, grapefruit. Hefty but still impressively drinkable.

Smell and taste of citrus, pineapple, hop resin. Well balanced bitterness, malt to hop notes. Really solid
