Canned on 02/26/16 (Dat Citrus Doe). Pours pretty hazy light orange straw. Dear lord dat aroma doe. Pops with orange, pineapple, mango, definite tropical notes, dank hops, resin, pine. Flavor is wow too. I mean, ripe sweet orange, mango, there’s this like transient sweetness that’s somewhere between sugary sweetness and biscuit malt sweetness. Some lingering bitterness, but nothing over the top that makes it overly aggressive. I mean this is another damn good beer from Other Half. Really damn good.

Can at jamesy’s birthday bash. While it’s probably not the most imaginative approach to an IPA -- a single hop Citra IPA! -- it’s still excellent. Citrus and tropical fruit dominate without being overpowering, and it’s a solid, crisp IPA.

Sample at Proletariat. Cloudy yellow-gold color with a medium white head that diminishes gradually. Partial rings of lacing on the glass. Aroma of citrus, hops and malt. Medium body with a citrusy hops character and notes of biscuit malt and pine. The finish is moderately bitter with a dank citrusy hops aftertaste. Pretty good all around.
