16oz can pours a murky dark orange with some lacing, white head. Nose is classic IPA with soap, citrus rind, grasses, orange, light pine, light herbs. Flavor is sweet with malt a touches of sweet orange/tropical fruit, then soap and herbs. Dry finish and scary drinkable for 7.4%. I guess this is a flagship.

Note: 7/10

Fresh can from a porch bomb from jamesy. This is a really solid, hoppy IPA with a bit of citrus zing and a crisp finish. I got a minerally bite at the end that I’ve noticed in other Other Half beers, but that I actually really like. Worth drinking if you get the chance -- it’s definitely in the top tier of IPAs.

From notes. Enjoyed at the 3rd Annual Barleywine Tasting at Travis’s house on February 20. 16 oz can shared by Travis as Beach slept on the couch because we were the last two standing, aside from Max. The pour is a nice hazy gold with a decently thick bright white head that falls down leaving a hefty amount of soapy lace on the glass. The aroma is full of piney resin. There is a heavy dank hop and a huge bitter pine resin. There is a pretty decent citrus that’s present, but it’s all drowned out by the pine. The flavor is very similar. The pine resin is just huge. There is a hoppy presence with it and a little citrus shining through on the back end. This has a lovely bitterness that carries out the finish. The mouth feel is excellent. There is a great crispness to it and a wonderful carbonation that’s crisp and light. The aftertaste is lingeringly bitter and citrusy. This is a damn good IPA. I need to find some other Other Half stuff to pound. Thanks Travis!

Doré foncé et même cuivré comme couleur. Petite mousse.
