3.1 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
The head is ok, the body golden-blond. It smells like a hop-garden, young hoppy intensive in a positive way. The taste is very interesting, different hoppy, a bit malty, a real hop garden! Good! 11/10/11/11/-/11

3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
Cask at the Cask, Pimlico - 11/08/12.
Slightly hazy pale yellow with a thin white head.
Citrus, grapes, figgy jam on the nose.
Taste marries the nose allied to a hint of grass and peas with a sour background flavour.
Medium bodied with a bitter dry finish.

3.1 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Gravity Cask - The Clarendon - (Newington Green) - so first to rate, surprised given that this beer won a 2010 cask festival in Wales. Strong citrus aroma of grapefruit and lemons, very little carbonation, bitter middle followed by long oaky finish. Golden yellow no head.

3.3 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
Pours a hazy orange colour. Aroma is subtle spices, clove, aniseed, cinnamon. I really like the flavour even though it’s almost overpowered by clove. Some orange and spice. I like it but don’t want another.

3.2 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Bottle at home. Pale yellowy amber, thin white head fades to a film on the top. Nice citrus/yeast nose, slight funk, slightly acidic. Juicy citrus up front, with a subtle yeast character and a grassy hop finish. OK, but not doing it for me.

3.3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
from Mondial de la Bière 2011, Strasbourg - quite clear golden-blond beer with a little persistent white foam left; aroma of wheat, citrus and yeast; subtle carbonation and moderate malt backbone, some bitterness and salty notes too; long wheaty and hoppy finish - interesting

3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 16/20
Nice cloudy orange with a bubbly off-white head. The smell’s fresh and full of citrus. Orange, coriander, a little pepper. The taste is a bit sharp at first, but then a nice, light melon sweetness takes over. The palate’s medium and easygoing. This is a classy wheat beer.
