3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 13/20
Bottle from Bernie’s Real Ale Office License, Shirley. Pale, limey gold with a skim of head. Chiefly hop-driven aroma; pineapple, melon, red apple. Hint of pig pen. Slight and perfumed with lemon and lime jelly, pineapple, slight toasted bread notes, straw. The pig pen again. Bit of monkey nut in the aftertaste. Some decent hops fading into dung-speckled emptiness. Lacks condition.

3.2 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
Cask at the Draft House. Clear, lovely gold pour with a foamy, white head. Nose holds a lot of orange and honey. Flavor not as great, bit of messy malts, mild citrus, some bread. Light bodied with lively carbonation. Finishes with some dry, straw hops, light malty sugars. Not bad but not good.

3.2 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Golden. No head. The aroma is woody, almost grassy. Quite bitter, snappy in a "Chinooky", high cohumulone way, but without the citrusy overtones I’d normally associate with that type of hop. Tasty.
