3.9 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
On cask at Odiham and Greywell Cricket Club. Pours golden with a hoppy aroma. A very impressive beer, with a complex character and brimming with somewhat tropical flavours. Fruity on the palate with hints of orange and other citrus flavours but leading to a dry finish with a fairly moderate bitterness. Big fan!

3.1 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
On cask at the Guildford Arms.
Appearance - pale golden with a proportionate head.
Nose - lemon and grapefruit.
Taste - grapefruit and grapefruit pith. As it goes on its all pith. So bitter.
Palate - light bodied with a creamy yet tangy texture and a long dry finish. Too dry for such a thin body.
Overall - way too bitter for me.

Crisp still golden, wee white head. Dried out lemon rind nose, slightly clinical edge. Soft peppery, lightly oily and a very crisp drinkability. Big lemon cordial middle, dilluted with a light malt before an easy bitter finish. Fresh try linger. Decent, easy going golden.

3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
Cask, gravity at The Beer in Hand, Hereford, Saturday 9th November 2013. Pours gold in colour, condition very good, sparkling with just a few light bubbles dancing across the top. Wonderfully hoppy, plenty of hoppy burps. Fresh, tasty beer. Crisp zippy, lemony and grapefruit flavours, very nice beer, I concentrated less on rating and more on guzzling we had three of these. Old Fountain. Cask. Almost clear gold beer. Tidy off white head. Light palate, a little crispness. Light thij malt. A very nice sweetish floral vibe gives way to a mildly sherbet lemon - lime. There is a whisper of yeasty sulphur that stops me bolting this. Finishes light and dry with some parma violets emerging. Well - a surprise all right. A new Otley high for me. Very very drinkable.
