Bottle. Delicate smoke and chocolate aroma, nicely balanced. Meaty malt base with a very dry hop character, and very slight smokiness. All in all a pleasant beer, but it could do with a layer or two more of complexity.

Cask at Craft Beer Co, Covent Garden, London. A very dark brown coloured pour with a medium bubbly off white head on top. Roasty, malty, fruity aroma. Tastes the same, roasty, malty, fruity, hint of chocolate.

Lambic thanks to... oh, that is a porter. :D Bottle thanks to Beersiveknown, cheers Steve! Aroma: Infection, tottally sour aroma, lemon, vinegar. Appearance: Great head, dense and durable, very dark brown color. Taste: Sour, light, sweet, some roasty and bready notes, lemon, fruity notes, low bitterness. Palate: Body is medium, carbonation is high (very tiring), finish is semi-dry.

50cl bottle at home from beerritz, uk. Body is clear dark brown, head is very small, white, mostly diminishing, good lacing. Nose is roasted coffeeish, flavor is dark chocolate, toast, coffee, fresh water. Medium sweet, medium to heavy roasty bitter. Finish is medium lasting medium roasty light hoppy medium bitter. Medium to full body, dry texture, soft carbonation. Easy dessert beer, simple, tasty.

Appearance - opaque black, with a black olive sheen and with a nice fluffy head.
Nose - dark chocolate and creamy.
Taste - dark chocolate with a light prune note. Dry coffee.
Palate - medium to full bodied with a creamy texture and an elegant finish.
Overall - lovely rich porter.

Bottle from can’t remember where. Clouded deep purple colour with a very rich but not quite sickly sweet sweetness. Has a spirit-like aftertaste.

Clear dark brown beer, small pale tan head. Palate is light and semi dry. Modest fine carbonation. Mild dark malts, tangy and a little thin. Touches of dark chocolate and dark fruits. Light semi dry finish, with mild bitterness. Light on it’s feet and fine.
