2.6 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20
Tallahassee, Fl - Beer Stop - 500 ml bottle. Medium copper pour, slightly dull and murky, decent white head. Aroma is sweet and caramel-like. Flavor is a bit cluttered and overly sweet. Some molasses, caramel, maple syrup sweetness, finishes with some cotton candy sweet mushiness. Mouthfeel is decently sticky.

1.5 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 5/20
Muddy red pour with a very thin white head. Aroma is funky sweet rotting fruit. Flavor is over sweet like there was incomplete fermentation. Something tasted a little rotten. Mo character other than sweet caramelly malt. Not good at all. Drain pour.

2.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 10/20
Poured into a wine-style glass form a small bottle purchased in Buenos Aires. The beer had a mostly-clear light orange-red color with an almost pink hue, and almost no white head, which quickly dissipated. The aroma had heavy malty notes of caramel, candy, and brown sugar, with pine and citrus hops undertones. It tasted mostly sweet and malty with a caramel presence, then a more sour finish with a slight taste of alcohol. The body was quite thin and light with low carbonation and not much feel. I had higher hopes, but it was not a bad beer.

3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
Pours with a redish tint with an off-white head. Lots of thick malt, caramel, leather and burnt sugar in the nose. Mouthfeel is full and bubbly; really thick. Even though the nose is so dark, the taste is surprisingly bright with cherry and apple notes. Initially it tastes like a dopple, but there’s a nice bright mid section taste. It also has a long finish. Reminds me of a red sour with a bit of Belgian.

Quite sweet and malty. Slightly metallic but also slightly buttery taste. Almost some doppelbock qualities. Not what I expected. Serving: Bottle

Dark apple juice look, timid head. Sweet caramel and malty aroma. Fruity taste, light sweetness, some mild acidity and malty notes. Light body, oily feel, soft carbonation, light bitter and sour after taste.

3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
why the hate? im amazed the low score for such a great ale. i dont feel its a amber though; dont know where that comes from. fresh grass, blood orange, dark malts and sugars, some soft grains. a little too sweet and the alcohol burns a bit much, but otherwise its a quality ale.

4.1 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20
A nice sweet malty aroma. Dirty orange-brown. This is tasty. A quite sweet flavor. This is smooth; doesn’t seem too high in alcohol. Now I need to find the other two.

3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
Bottle sample at KBJ2010. Poured dark brown color with an average frothy brown head that lasted and produced good lacing. Moderate toasted malt and dark fruit aroma. Medium body with a sticky texture and soft carbonation. Medium sweet flavor with a medium sweet finish of moderate duration. This is a drinkable complex beer.
